Chipp Corderman

Hi my name Chipp Corderman and I am a Marine Musician who has moved to California to serve with Marine Band San Diego. I have been fronting bands for 20 years and gigged steadily on the east coast while living in Richmond Virginia where I earned my degree in music from Virginia Commonwealth University and fronted local bands CoPilot, and Big Nasty. During my time in Richmond I held weekly residencies at two venues and opened up for national touring acts the Wailers, and also Fishbone. I then made the decision to join the Marine Corps as a musician in the band field giving me the opportunity to represent my country and play music full time. I perform regularly around town with my band Chipp Corderman and the PC's and also Big Flavor, a local 7 piece funk band of which I am the frontman and founding member of. From time to time I perform acoustic gigs solo or with my friend and fellow guitarist, Mike Borowski. Here on my site i've included a mix of covers and original music that I have recorded with various groups I've been in over the years. Depending on the size of your stage and budget, I can provide accompanyment that can range from solo acoustic, to power trio, to the full on party that Big Flavor brings. I have a full professional P.A. set up and have graduated from the Navy School of music's sound re-enfrorcement course.
